Version Support Policy Update: Focusing on the Latest Releases

Blisk will now support only the two most recent versions to accelerate development and deliver more features.

Notice:
Starting January 15th, 2026, Blisk will officially support only the two most recent major versions, including the current production release. Once a new major version is released, any version more than one major release behind will become unsupported. When the new update policy takes effect, all unsupported versions (those more than one major release behind the current production version) will:
  • Stop receiving updates and bug fixes
  • Lose access to regular and Premium features (Premium licenses will not work on unsupported versions).

Version Support Policy Update

At Blisk, our mission is to deliver the best possible experience for developers and teams building for the web. As our user base and feature set have grown, so too has the complexity of maintaining compatibility across multiple versions of Blisk.

Supporting too many old versions slows down our development process and limits our ability to innovate.

Each additional version we maintain requires extra testing, bug fixes, and compatibility work - resources that could otherwise be dedicated to building new features and improving performance for everyone.

What’s Changing?

Starting January 15th, 2026, Blisk will officially support only the last two major versions, including the current production release. Once a new major version is released, any version more than two major releases behind will become unsupported.

When the new update policy takes effect, all unsupported versions (more than two major versions behind the current production version) will:

  • Stop receiving updates and bug fixes.
  • Lose access to regular and Premium features (Premium licenses will not work on unsupported versions).

Version Support Example

Current production version is 25.0.115.28. It means that current major version is 25.

VersionSupport status
25.1.0.0Supported
25.0.0.0Supported
24.1.0.0Supported
24.0.0.0Unsupported
23 and earlierUnsupported

Only the current and previous major versions are supported. All earlier major versions are unsupported, regardless of their minor, patch, or build number.

Why This Matters

By focusing our efforts on the latest versions, we can:

  • Accelerate our release cycle: Deliver new features and improvements to you faster.
  • Improve software quality: Reduce bugs and compatibility issues by streamlining our testing and support.
  • Innovate more quickly: Free up resources to work on the features and enhancements you’ve requested.

What Should You Do?

To ensure you continue to receive updates, new features, and uninterrupted access to Premium features, please keep your Blisk application up to date. You can always download the latest version from our update center.

If you are using a version of Blisk that is more than two releases behind the current production version, we strongly recommend updating before January 15th, 2026 to avoid any disruption in support or Premium access.

Thank you for being a part of the Blisk community and for your understanding as we make this change to serve you better. If you have any questions or need assistance with updating, please contact our support team.
